Today Netherville Retirement Village is made up of a broad range of nationalities and cultures. Residents own their own homes and when moving on, for family or health reasons, benefit from any capital gains when selling. The village was originally developed by a Dutch Community Group between 1992- 1998; they saw a need for a lifestyle village for when they retired.

Registered as an Incorporated Society, and Not-For-Profit, Netherville trust accounts are audited annually. We exist for the good of our residents, and therefore we are not profit-focused. An annually elected committee governs Netherville Village.
